Who am I? Well...
- I am a medical librarian (MLIS '98, San
José State University School of Library and Information Science,
Fullerton Program).
- I am a retired pharmacist (Pharm.D. '77, University
of Southern California).
- I am a singer by avocation: soprano section leader/soloist at
Trinity United Methodist Church, Pomona, California (1995-2002);
founding member of the Claremont Camerata.
- I am a member of Greater
Los Angeles Area Mensa.
- I am married (happily!) to Jerry
Hollombe.
- I love cats.
- I design and make quilts.
- I am fascinated by genealogy, and am compiling a database on
the López, Argüello, Velarde,
de Herrera, García and Candelaria families of northern New
Mexico.
- I love to scuba dive (and it's been far too long since
I've been diving; funny how graduate school interferes with such
things...).
- I've recently become interested in shooting sports.
- I'm known as "Soprano" in alt.callahans.
- I am the founder (and only inhabitant) of the Winnetka Shelter
for Maladjusted Singers.
What? You say that's what I do, not who I am?
Oh. Well, when I figure it out, I'll let you know....
